I have such a fixation on needing to be perfect that anything less feels like failure. Even just writing that down seems ridiculous because no one is perfect! But I know I’m not alone in that feeling.
Today try to remember everything you have achieved, not things you haven’t. After all, it is our failures that make us grow, make us strong and teach us who we want to be. So really, there is no such thing as failure at all. Just an opportunity to learn and be better.

There is so much truth to this; it is simple to understand, and yet, so difficult for many people to practice!

It really is. Even though I wrote this, I still can’t seem to shake that self-critical voice always int he back of my mind telling me I’m not good enough!
